About Miss A + My Teaching Style
Hello, my name is Audria Linton 🙂. I'm an M.Ed. in TESOL student building an online tutoring business. I have over 6 years of private tutoring experience, years of experience working with children and youth, and foreign & local school teaching experience . I tutor in all areas of the English language: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and can do IELTS prep as well. I make personalized learning plans for students. My teaching style is fun, creative, interactive, empathetic, patient, fosters critical thinking + grammar + language skills, and always comes from a heart that deeply cares for my students as persons first, instead of containers I need to pour knowledge into. Students will ALWAYS know that I CARE about them above anything else. I offer discounts for siblings, flexible rescheduling, and no cancellation or late fees. Parents can discuss with me & choose their own class times. I do online tutoring. Simply book the times you would like to do your class.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, providing me with a strong foundation in & command of the English language.
TESOL Certificate
I hold a Fundamentals of English Language Teaching (TESOL) certificate, providing me with the necessary skills to teach the English language effectively to English learners.
M.Ed. in TESOL
I am currently completing my M.Ed. in TESOL, which deepens my knowledge & hones my skills of teaching the English language & reading instruction, and assessing student progress.
Language Proficiency
English - I am a native English speaker
Korean - I learned Korean and can speak it. It helps with communication & explain certain grammar / cultural concepts. Sometimes, it's just easier to hear it in your first language.
